Putting humanity at the center of everything she does, Laurie creates strong and lasting relationships which add value for our agency and our clients.  An inspirational and approachable leader, Laurie embraces change by asking “What if?” and “Why not?”  Since taking the helm of the agency in 2016 she has made it her mission to drive the transformation of gotham – modernizing, upskilling and empowering the team.

Having spent most of her career within the IPG and McCann Worldgroup network, Laurie has had the pleasure of working with brands in beauty, luxury, beverage and technology including Helena Rubinstein, Liz Claiborne, Wedgwood, Waterford and America Online in its heyday.  She has been an integral part of the success of the agency’s 30+ year relationship with Maybelline.

Laurie lives with her husband, their 10-year-old son, and a menagerie of animals on their farm in Chester, New Jersey.

Interested in our industry since childhood, Andrea chose “Advertising Exec” as her dream career for her 5th grade yearbook. With a true passion for our business, Andrea prides herself on her ability to read between the lines and interpret what a client means, not just what they say. This skill and her natural proactivity allow her to predict client needs ahead of time and deliver more than they ask for. Through client relationships built on trust and partnership, Andrea is intimately involved in clients’ goals and issues, allowing her to troubleshoot complex business problems and pivot when necessary. Always a team player, she works across disciplines to make the agency stronger and the work better.

Before joining gotham she worked at a variety of agencies including Grey, Roberts and Langer, JWT and Translation, on brands including Mars Candy, Diageo, Neutrogena, Macy’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Martha Stewart.

Andrea lives in Westchester, New York with her husband and two children. She is avidly involved in multiple organizations that aid and fund research for rare genetic mutations and neurological disorders affecting children, causes that are very personal to her. When not working or spending time with her family, you can find Andrea on a spin bike!

With a deep interest in what drives cultural change, Shanna’s work lies at the intersection of data and intuition. By combining research and creative thinking, she unearths valuable insights that drive gotham’s work. She began her career at TED when it was a start-up with only 25 people and grew with the organization, eventually leading an initiative called Ads Worth Spreading. That work introduced her to the agency world, and the role of Strategy. Prior to joining gotham, she worked at McCann, Barbarian, and Equinox, across a variety of positions in global, social, and digital strategy. Through every move, she’s been able to work with the elusive and awesome things we call ideas and has been lucky enough to see many of them reach millions of people.

When she’s not in the office, Shanna’s likely in upstate New York with her two rescue dogs and her husband, cooking and listening to soca music from her home island of Trinidad and Tobago.

With an education that focused on the management of arts organizations, Sara brings a unique perspective to the role of HR. She loves the energy that creative people bring to their work, and believes that her role is to create an environment where they can thrive. Her approach to HR focuses on the needs of the individual and how to best tap into their unique talents. A strategic thinker and natural problem solver, she works to make gotham stronger by elevating our people to be their best. Sara began her career at gotham and returned in 2019 after holding a variety of positions in HR at the agency, regional, and global network level.

She lives on the north shore of Long Island with her husband Don and dog, Dr. Woofington. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and cook.
